The village of Ridge Lane is in Mancetter Parish and is situated on the North Warwickshire Ridge about two miles south-west of the town of Atherstone in the borough of North Warwickshire. The main road gives it's name to the village which has a shop, local pub and a real ale brewery that opens a bar to the public for part of the week.

The village is quite small and is surrounded by farmland and the nearby Bentley Woods, famous for it's ancient woodland and beautiful display of bluebells.

The small Methodist Chapel has in recent years been developed in to a community facility for the village, and hosts a youth club, tea and toast as well as a Sunday service. It is the meeting place for The Bluebelles - the aptly named Ridge Lane branch of the WI.

Mancetter Parish Council owns land for allotments within the village.
