Your Refuse and recycling collections will change over Christmas and New Year

There will be no refuse or recycling collections from Monday 25 to Friday 29 December 2023 or on Monday 1 January 2024, collections for those dates will resume the following week but will happen a day later than the normal schedule.

All collections will be affected by the following changes:

Normal collections will resume on Monday 8 January 2024.

Please ensure that both your black (refuse) and red (recycling) bins are presented at the edge of your property by 6am on your amended collection day.

Additional recycling waste will be taken if placed in a clear sack and presented with your bin. Up to 3 bags of household waste will be collected for properties who have waited 3 weeks (last collection 11 to 15 December) for a black bin collection. No additional household waste will be taken if your last black bin collection was the week before Christmas (18 to 22 December).

There will be no green bin collections from Monday 25 December 2023 to Friday 12 January 2024 due to the annual break in this service.
